Going Shopping

Tomorrow I am going to spend the day with my father.My dad has a hard time walking now too, and it is very frustrating for him. My mom has to help him a lot. My father stays home all the time after he had a hip replacement. He feels very lonely. He is going to ask me to take him to shop at the shopping center. We are going to visit Seafood City Marketplace in the south center mall tomorrow. This Asian Market just opened on July 16, 2010. This is the only Philippine market in the Seattle. First, we are going to buy on sale seafood and vegetables at the supermarket, and we are going to go shopping for clothes. My father needs to wear clothes that are easy to put on and take off. I hope he won't tire on the trip. If he can't walk with a walking stick. He is going to sit in a wheelchair. He is really looking forward to it, and he called me and told me he is going to go to bed early tonight. Tomorrow he is going to eat breakfast with me at the restaurant. He is very excited.

Pet Peeve

I don't usually get upset, but there is on thing I Hate: The bank charged me overdraft fee for a check that didn't belong to me. One day in the morning, I opened computer to check my bank account. I was so surprised that the bank paid one check which it didn't have my name, address and signature on it, but the account number was the same. Also I didn't have enough funds to cover that check, but the bank still paid for it and charge me overdraft fee. I called the bank, I got credit back for the check amount only; I was still charged the overdraft fee. That was not fair to me. The banker told me that she couldn't do anything about it because the account was closed. She didn't have power to see my account. That happened on Saturday. I waited until Monday to talk to the bank manager, finally, the overdraft fee was credited back to me.

Mei's perfect day

A perfect day is a sunny day. For me, it includes sleeping in, and no one wakse me up in the morning. It includes someone cooking for me, and eating special food. On a perfect day, I and my sons go on vacation to the the beach, and we enjoy the sunshine together.

Computers have changed our lives. The best thing about them is that they save us a lot of time to find information we need. We read news on the computer. We find direction on the computer. We use computer to find jobs. We use online banking in the computer to check our account balance.
The worst aspect of the computer is that we sit in the one place too long. When I went to work, we always sat in front of the computer. At home, I am used to sitting in front of computer to read e mail and watch news.
